Oral Surgery

The common oral surgical procedures carried out are:

  • Removal of impacted teeth
  • Apicectomy, where infection at the top of the root is surgically removed
  • Surgical removal of buried roots
  • Removal of jaw cysts

It is the usual practice for your General Dental Practitioner to refer you to obtain this specialist service. The treatments can be carried out under local or general anaesthetic. When you are referred by your General Dental Practitioner, at initial consultation, the diagnosis would be made as to the problem. We will discuss the treatment options and all necessary information would be given at that time. However, if you have any oral surgery problem you can also contact the clinic directly for an appointment.
